Carlson Hotels Worldwide selected the QL2Hotels data access solution as the foundation for its groundbreaking Carlson Hotels Stay Night Automated Pricing (SNAP) initiative. The data that hotels need to consider in their revenue optimization initiatives is incredibly dynamic. Vital to successful analysis is access to the exact data they need, when they need it, which QL2 provides. Technology Innovation & Leadership
The QL2Hotels Unique Property IDs have grown to be the largest available hotel mapping database. Enabling QL2 customers to accurately compare properties across websites, the QL2 library of unique hotel property IDs contains nearly half a million unique hotel properties identified from nearly three million hotel listings across 750 websites. Every travel website has its own naming convention, so one hotel could be referenced numerous ways within different travel websites, making it impossible to have a baseline price comparison. Since there are no standardization efforts, prior to the QL2Hotels innovative search and mapping offering, customers were required to manually compare properties by jumping from website to website. The QL2Hotels Unique Property ID simplifies the process with a database that links thousands of properties across hundreds of sites by each site's unique property ID.

Thought Leadership
By growing its management team with industry veterans, QL2 is maintaining its status as an industry authority on Web and data technology. In April, Rosie Hausler joined QL2 as vice president of marketing, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience in developing and executing products and marketing strategies for SaaS and Web technology companies. Hausler has served as vice president of marketing at a number of trailblazing software start-ups, including those with SaaS and open source business models. Most recently, Hausler was the vice president of marketing for Likewise Software, and previously held positions at Tandem Computers (acquired by HP), Cisco Systems, Amazon.com, Junglee (acquired by Amazon.com) and Nsite (acquired by SAP).
In June, Kerri Bumgardner joined QL2 as vice president of engineering, bringing with her a wealth of technical experience and proven experience in the retail marketplace. During her two decade tenure with Nordstrom, Kerri led a team in the implementation, change management, and overall technical and customer support of a large Perpetual Inventory system. Over the course of her career, Bumgardner managed teams of more than 100 IT staff personnel and was responsible for data integrity, audits, and controls for the merchandising systems, including Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, HIPAA, and annual reviews with corporate auditors. Her work earned her accolades across the Fortune 500 Company, and she was a top 500 executive in a company of more than 50,000 employees.
Next month Phil Sabin will join QL2 as CFO with more than 25 years of proven business experience in finance and accounting. Phil's background includes retailer Sur La Table. In addition Phil was responsible for acquisition integration at Amazon.com and served as Controller for publicly held Pathways Group where his responsibilities included managing SEC filings.
