Six Industry Luminaries Join Gleanster as Thought Leaders, Expanding Its Research Purview

Gleanster today announced partnerships with six globally-recognized business authors, speakers, and consultants, who, in their role as Thought Leaders, will share their knowledge and insights with tens of thousands of industry practitioners in the Gleanster community and beyond. These individuals are Bob Hayes, Jeffrey Hayzlett, Tim O?Brien, David Raab, Andrew Salzman and Lyndsay Wise.

Following are their brief bios:


Bob Hayes, Ph.D., is a recognized expert in customer feedback and customer experience management. His books include Beyond the Ultimate Question and Measuring Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty. Through his consulting firm, Business Over Broadway, he has implemented customer feedback programs and directed global customer feedback research projects for Siebel Systems, Oracle, Agilent Technologies and many others.


Jeffrey Hayzlett is a global business celebrity, former Fortune 100 CMO, in-demand speaker and bestselling business author. He is a frequent television commentator and executive producer of a number of global television projects and celebrity editor of the largest circulation social media and business magazines in the world. Hayzlett is author of the business bestseller The Mirror Test. His second book, Running the Gauntlet, publishes in January. He leads The Hayzlett Group, an international strategic business consulting company leading change for high growth businesses.


Tim O'Brien is a popular speaker, book author and contributor to O'Reilly Radar where he has covered a wide range of topics, from Big Science to Big Data to government transparency. He has authored several books for O'Reilly including the Jakarta Commons Cookbook, Harnessing Hibernate, Maven: A Developer's Notebook, and Maven: The Definitive Guide. His online open source books attracted more than half a million unique readers last year. Through his consulting practice, Discursive, he provides developer marketing support and services.


David Raab is a leading research analyst and consultant on marketing technology. He has written hundreds of articles in trade magazines and is the author of Marketing Performance Measurement Toolkit and the B2B Marketing Automation Vendor Selection Tool. Raab advises major consumer and business marketers on marketing processes, technology and service vendors. Raab established the technology consulting practice at Raab Associates in 1987.


Andrew Salzman is a marketing veteran known for his work in supporting business transformations at Global 1000, mid-market, and emerging consumer and technology firms. He previously served as CMO at E2open in SaaS-based SCM, Saba in on-premise/SaaS HCM, Informational Resources (IRI) in consumer-retail insights, and Siebel Systems during its period of meteoric growth in creating the CRM category. Salzman also previously led global marketing operations at Compaq. He is currently a principal with The Chasm Group.


Lyndsay Wise has extensive IT experience in business systems analysis, software selection, and implementation of enterprise applications. She is the author of an upcoming book on Open Source Business Intelligence and the founder of WiseAnalytics, a boutique consulting firm focused on business intelligence. Wise previously served as a senior research analyst at TEC in the business intelligence and business performance management practice areas.

Heidelberg Instruments to Support Micro and Nano Research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

Heidelberg Instruments announced the sale of an advanced DWL 66FS maskless laser lithography system to Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.


The DWL 66FS maskless lithography system is capable of binary and gray scale exposure, layer to layer alignment, and is able to produce sub micron features.


?The KIT/IMT?s DWL 66FS maskless lithography system will become part of the Karlsruhe Nano- and Micro Facility http://www.knmf.kit.edu/ which provides an open platform for structuring and characterizing a multitude of functional materials, components, and systems at the micro- and nanoscale. The machine will mainly complement IMT?s E-Beam machine for microstructure pattern generation. The main focus will be on patterning of areas larger than 5 inch and on 3D-elements that will add functionality to IMT?s LIGA technology,? states Dr. Joachim Schulz, leader of the Flagship-Projekt.
