Gloria Marie Handmade Soaps Can Be Key to a Better You in New Year

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) December 30, 2010

If one of your goals is to live healthier in 2011, a simple thing you can do is to change your soap. According to Ti Rogers, Founder of Gloria Marie Soaps most people don?t know the ingredients contained in an average bar bought at the grocery store.

?It has a lot of chemicals and detergents and these can be harmful to our bodies,? said Rogers. ?Sometimes we find out the hard way.?

It was concern over her three-year old daughter, Gloria Marie, that lead Rogers to start her own handmade soap company in Ashland City, Tennessee, a small town located about thirty miles from Nashville.

One day Rogers noticed that Gloria had developed a rash on her chest, elbows, and knees. It got worse and a trip to the doctor diagnosed the condition as eczema.

?I set out on a mission to free my daughter from the constant rashes and itching, so began the learning process of making soap. I spent several months studying the properties of different oils and the saponification process. I eventually made my first crude bars of all natural lye soaps,? she said.

Rogers says after using the handmade soaps on Gloria for several months, she noticed her daughter stopped having break outs. She also tried them on herself and noticed her own skin felt more moisturized and break outs on her face subsided as well.

With positive results, she began to tell family and friends and let them experience her creations. Soon they were telling their friends and more and more people were interested and began purchasing the soaps and with that her business was born.

The goal of Gloria Marie Soaps is to help consumers to make healthy choices in what they are putting on and in their bodies. The company is committed to providing natural alternatives for body care. All soap products are made from natural oils and goat?s milk that comes from registered Nubian dairy goats that are raised on Roger?s farm.

Gloria Marie?s current line of natural soaps includes five products ? oats and honey, lemon mint, lavender, green tea and aloe, and citrus breeze with all bars costing just under $ 5.00.

Along with the New Year, the company will be implementing a soap of the month which will enable consumers to try new scents that will only be available for that particular month.

The product line now also includes body butter and lip balms with plans for more to come. With a special day for sweethearts just around the corner, Rogers says she will be introducing bath salts, bath bombs, milk baths, and a new scent made specifically for Valentine?s Day.

?Our gift baskets could be just the thing to give the gift of health and to show someone that you care,? she said.

A Biotech/Nutritional Science Breakthrough - San Diego Based Liquid Vitamin Company ?Passion 4 Life? Using New Liposomal Encapsulation Technology for Better Absorption

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 30, 2011

Passion 4 Life is proud to announce their newly updated and much improved comprehensive liquid vitamin and mineral product using a new Liposomal Encapsulation Technology for their anti-aging super ingredient Resveratrol, making them one of the first companies to adapt this ground-breaking process. This relatively new and specialized technology enhances the absorption of the ingredient that has been encapsulated with this process.

Charles Van Kessler, founder, creator and formulator of Passion 4 Life, in making the announcement stated, "It has always been our goal at Passion 4 Life to develop the most powerful and effective liquid vitamin and mineral product on the market. We are always striving to improve our product and take advantage of new technologies as they are developed. We are proud for our family run company to be among the first to use the Liposomal Encapsulation for our anti-aging super ingredient Resveratrol and to have a comprehensive liquid multi-vitamin and mineral product with an absolutely amazing flavor."

Passion 4 Life contains 135 high quality whole food based ingredients, including all essential vitamins, 74 trace minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, mangosteen, acai, noni, goji, resveratrol and much more with each ounce based in 3000 mg. of organic aloe vera. It contains no caffeine, no gluten, no wheat, no soy, no dairy. Additionally, even though it has no added or refined sugar or artificial sweeteners, Passion 4 Life has been able to conquer the challenge of taste by developing a proprietary flavor that is so delicious even kids ask for more. It is now a pleasure to take your liquid vitamins.

Liposomes are presently being cleverly implemented for the specific oral delivery of certain nutritional supplements. A few nutritional supplement companies and manufacturers are currently pioneering the benefits of this unique relatively new scientific breakthrough, of which Passion 4 Life is one. This new direction and employment of Liposome Science is in part due to the low absorption and bioavailability of traditional nutritional hard-to-swallow pills and tablets. The low oral bioavailability and absorption of many nutrients in pill and tablet form is well documented. Therefore the natural encapsulation of lypophilic and hydrophilic nutrients with Liposomes has made a very effective method of bypassing the destructive elements of the gastric system and aiding the encapsulated liquid nutrients to be properly delivered to the cells and tissues. Liposomes which use a form of nanotechnology science, also impressively and harmoniously use the generalized nature of the Liposomes themselves to therefore increase the efficacy, bioavailability, absorption and delivery of certain nutritional supplements.

Passion 4 Life vitamins proudly founded and supports Passion 4 K.I.D.S., a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, dealing with homeless, neglected, abandoned, abused and underprivileged children of any race, color and creed as well as children in emergency situations.

GiveMore.com Shares ?The Worst Thing About Meetings? Survey Results & Offers Tips for Making Meetings Better

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) January 25, 2012

GiveMore.com, a company committed to developing messages and material that help leaders kick-off and support their meetings in a fresh and interesting way, recently conducted a survey asking participants to share ?the worst thing about meetings?. The results bolster support for the company?s mission to make meetings better and prompted Sam Parker, GiveMore.com?s co-founder and bestselling author of 212 the extra degree? to outline a list of tips for better meetings.

?Not surprising, all of these responses could be distilled into less than 15 repeated answers," said Parker. The most common responses were:

????No clear purpose or objective.
????Not organized. No agenda.
????Too long.
????Boring. Nothing new or interesting.
????Not inspiring or motivating.
????Doesn't start on time, stay on track, or finish on time.
????Lack of interaction.
????Allowing attendees to ramble and repeat the same comments and thoughts.
????Weak presenter (unprepared, not succinct, monotone, overly redundant).
????Repeating information for late arrivals.
????No specific action items or walk-away points.

"Meetings are an opportunity. They're an important part of how we connect, how we learn and inform, and how we encourage,? says Parker.

?If you're running a meeting, don't do the things that annoy people,? he suggests. ?Be a grown-up. Respect your attendees by preparing well, communicating well, and valuing time - our most valuable commodity. Make it about making your attendees better as a result of the meeting and you'll be better for it too. Somehow, people let these basics slip.?

For meeting attendees, Parker recommends that people participate in a supportive way by being part of the discussion - asking and answering questions. "When people find themselves in a meeting that isn't as valuable as they'd like, they need to be part of the solution and avoid being a part of the group that doesn't help; or worse, spreads negativity about the meeting."

Whether you?re running or attending a meeting, Sam?s recommendation is the same. ?Few meetings are perfect,? says Mr. Parker. ?Give people the break you?d like to be given and make good things happen. It?s part of Loving Your People.?
