downset. has just been confirmed to join Linkin Park on the second stage of Projekt Revolution, featuring Korn, Snoop Dogg, The Used, and Less Than Jake on this summer's tour.

downset. will unleash songs from their long awaited 4th album, "Universal", on the tour. "Universal" is slated to release June 1st, on Seattle-based Hawino Records. The band just completed 11 blistering new songs, and has been performing sporadically as they return to the top of the amalgamated world they created over a decade ago.

Founded in Los Angeles in the late 80's as part of the thriving hardcore scene, downset. has evolved into an icon of sorts. As the original blenders of rap, funk, hardcore, punk, metal, and socially aware lyrics, they drew influences from Black Flag to Black Sabbath, Public Enemy to Bob Marley.

Their reemergence marks the strength and integrity that has been held high in the eyes and ears of fans and believers. And while their previous efforts have sold close to 300,000 copies worldwide, "Universal" is set to follow suit. HI-POD on Tour with Snoop Dog, Korn & Linkin Park

Snoop Dog, Korn, & Linkin Park packed the house leaving little room for the Projekt Revolution producers to capture crane shots from the center of the floor. That's when they decided to test out the HI-POD.

Because of the HI-POD's small profile and its ability to get above the floor, the Projekt Revolution guys were able to capture altitude shots of the stage as well as of the crowd. The HI-POD's light weight made it possible to reposition the camera and obtain shots from anywhere in the UMB Bank Pavilion.

The HI-POD's bearing mounted foot made it easy to follow action horizontally, whether a performer was moving from one side of the stage to the other side. The HI-POD's tilt mechanism made it easy to follow the subject vertically, as they approached the front of the stage or moved to the back of the stage. And the HI-POD's LANC controller made it easy to remotely zoom in , to create close-ups for the producers, or to zoom out , to create establishing shots.
